Add Vegetables: The diced potatoes, carrots, and bell peppers are added and stirred into the simmering mixture. The pot is covered, and the dish is left to simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the pork is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
Add Peas: The green peas are stirred in during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Taste and Adjust: The dish is tasted for seasoning, and salt or pepper is added as needed.
